Job Summary:
This position is located in the Office of Procurement Services (OPS), Business Operations Center (BOC), Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management (OASAM). The Division serves as the departmental authority regarding all aspects of the procurement field, including, but not limited to, the selection, award and administration of various types of contracts, orders, blanket purchase agreements, and providing procurement assistance and guidance to the Office of the Secretary, and to several agencies under the Department of Labor. The position is interchangeable with other Lead Contract Specialists within OPS. This position has no promotion potential. This position is outside the bargaining unit. Relocation expenses will not be paid. This position will not be filled until the Department's Placement Assistance Programs have been fully utilized.
