Lead Mechanical Design Engineer

We are a highly progressive manufacturer of state of the art cash handling equipment and are looking for a talented design engineer with experience gained in a high volume industry.<br/><br/>You will collaborate throughout the product lifecycle with our Development team consisting of Software Engineers, Electronic Engineers and Scientists.<br/><br/>Our products are complex and the work is challenging as we strive to use innovative technologies in our designs.<br/><br/>Qualifications: Mechanical Engineering, Product Design or qualified by experience<br/><br/>Skills & Experience<br/><br/>* Creative product design work incorporating plastic, injection-moulded parts<br/>* Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings, ideally NX<br/>* Excellent communication skills; high level of verbal and written English<br/>* The ability to work to tight timescales in a challenging environment
