Mechanical Installation Engineer

Our client has been established for almost 25 years and specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of highest quality automation and materials handling systems and solutions for a diverse range of industry sector applications. As a result of continued success and a planned program of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit a local, mechanically biased (multi disciplined) materials handling engineer to complement their established and successful team.<br/><br/>Reporting to the Contracts/Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for a range of "hands on" activities on various projects on the shop floor, before following completed projects to customer site for hand over and final commissioning, and it is envisaged that realistically up to 70% of the role will be based on the shop floor currently (raising to 50/50 over time) with the remainder spent commissioning at customer locations throughout the UK.
