The Executive Office for the United States Attorneys is seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). This is a Senior Executive Service position responsible for directing all human resource management and related programs and initiatives for which the Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys (EOUSA) is responsible. As the CHRO, you will lead the development, management, and evaluation of human resource (HR) programs covering EOUSA and the 94 separate United States Attorney Offices (USAOs). You will serve as a full partner with other senior EOUSA leaders engaged in making major resource allocation and management decisions that profoundly impact the performance and financial health of the organization. EOUSA personnel programs include a variety of consultative, coordinative, management, and evaluation services provided to approximately 12,000 employees in over 90 separate offices throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the Virgin Islands. Programs for which the CHRO is responsible include policy development, personnel operations, and evaluation performed in support of an occupationally and geographically diverse workforce covered by three different pay plans - General Schedule, Administratively Determined, and Senior Executive - each with its own inherent technical complexity. EOUSA HR programs include the following: recruitment and placement, training and development, HR information systems, position classification, pay administration, performance management, automated payroll system coordination, pre-employment security administration, employee benefits, and evaluation. Non-traditional programs include employee assistance, and district management assistance. The Executive Office for the United States Attorneys Office is a great place to work!
