Job Summary:
This position is located in the Department of Labor (DOL),Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management(OASAM), Business Operations Center (BOC), Office of Procurement Services (OPS).The Division serves as the departmental authority in all aspects in the field of procurement, including, but not limited to the selection and awarding of contracts, purchase orders, blanket purchase agreements, administration and provides assistance and guidance in field, to the Office of the Secretary, and to several agencies under the Department of Labor. The position is interchangeable with other Lead Contract Specialist within OPS. This position has no promotion potential. This position is outside the bargaining unit. Relocation expenses will not be paid. This position will not be filled until the Department's Placement Assistance Programs have been fully utilized.
