Job Summary:
The National Agricultural Statistics Service is seeking qualified recent graduates to provide analytical survey work of a statistical nature in support of the NASS Census of Agriculture. This is an Excepted Service appointment. Upon completion of the program requirements, the appointment may be converted to a term (time-limited), career, or career-conditional (permanent) appointment but there is no guarantee. This position has promotion potential to the GS-12 level which is contingent upon successful completion of the program and a career conditional appointment (promotion is not guaranteed). The range of pay shown includes base pay plus supplemental locality adjustments. The locality rates for these duty locations range from a low of 14.16% to a high of 22.52%. Pay will vary by the locality rate for the geographic location where the position is located. Relocation expenses will not be authorized.
