Job Summary:

This position is located in DHS's Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A;), Border Security Division (BSD). The formation of the BSD is part of an I&A; effort to strengthen long-term capabilities in DHS core mission areas and responds to the Secretary's emphasis on boosting homeland intelligence support to state, local, and tribal authorities. The Director, BSD serves as the principal I&A; substantive advisor on U.S. border threats, serving the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security, and reporting directly to the DHS Deputy Under Secretary for Analysis.
