You will be responsible for providing professional engineering services, program management, and technical guidance in matters related to hazardous materials specification containers, especially railroad tank cars, design and manufacture, structural integrity, puncture resistance, thermal protection, and safety vents and valves. You will serve as a FRA expert on transportation of Hazardous Material with particular emphasis on the design, manufacture, quality assurance, and qualification of bulk rail packagings used to transport hazardous materials. This position would be perfect for an experienced professional that is a mission-focused self starter with exposure to package development for hazardous materials in the transportation arena and who wants to be a key innovator during a period of significant safety change in transportation.
