Job Summary:

About the position: This position is part of a formalized development program and is a CIVILIAN position with the Department of Army. The incumbent will serve as a civil engineer trainee with the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). This is a Career Program (CP) #18 position. If selected for this position, a signed mobility agreement is a condition of employment. This agreement states that in order to be placed in the intern program, or upon graduation from the intern program, you may be assigned to any location, within the Department of Army and that you will move to the new duty location. Failure to relocate can be used as the basis for non-selection. Failure to relocate after appointment can be the basis for your removal from Federal service. As a result of sequestration and budget shortfalls, Army is furloughing most of its employees for some amount of time during fiscal year 2013. An employee in this position MAY be subject to furlough. If applicable, specific information regarding the administrative furlough will be provided to the individual selected for this position.
