Job Summary:

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is the largest investigative arm of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). ICE protects national security and upholds public safety by targeting criminal networks and terrorist organizations that seek to exploit vulnerabilities in the immigration system, in the financial networks, along the U.S. borders, and elsewhere. The Director, Office of Procurement heads t he Office of Acquisition Management, which operates as a full business partner with internal and external organizations in delivering quality acquisition solutions in support of the ICE mission. The incumbent of this position reports to the Executive Associate Director (EAD) of Management and Administration (M&A;) for (ICE) and serves as the principal executive responsible for the negotiation of all business agreements with the private sector and for execution of statutory authority in obligating ICE and the private sector to specific contract performance. The Director, Office of Procurement also serves as the Head of Contracting Activity (HCA) under the appointment of the Department of Homeland Security Chief Procurement Officer (CPO).
