The Service Desk Analyst, reporting to the Service Desk Manager, contributes to the effective operation of the Service Desk. The post holder will receive and respond to requests for support from users by providing information to enable incident resolution; maintain accurate log entries of contact; use escalation procedures to ensure the prompt allocation of unresolved calls; and at all times deal with users in a courteous, friendly and professional manner. To succeed in this post you will have experience of working in a customer focussed call centre or helpdesk environment; be able to plan and organise a variety of tasks with differing priorities; have an analytical approach to problem solving; have fast and accurate keyboard skills; demonstrate knowledge of helpdesk database progra
