Job Summary:
The incumbent serves as the Deputy Director, Planetary ScienceDivision (PSD) and reports directly to the Director, PSD. NASA's goal in the Planetary Science Division is to ascertain the content, origin, and evolution of the solar system, and the potential for life elsewhere. The incumbent is responsible for planning, leading, organizing, controlling and directing flight program definition and development for Science Mission Directorate (SMD) programs delegated to PSD and implemented through the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the Goddard Space Flight Center.
