Job Summary:
The U.S. Small Business Administration's SES Performance Appraisal Certification is pending OPM's approval; therefore the salary cap for this position is limited to $165,300. The Small Business Administration (SBA) is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as the Director of the Denver Finance Office in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Denver Finance Office (DFO). The OCFO is responsible for conducting and promoting effective financial management activities for the Small Business Administration including budget, credit subsidy, financial operations, financial systems, and internal controls. The DFO's mission is to provide administrative and financial services to nearly 100 geographically disbursed field and headquarters entities of the U. S. Small Business Administration. These services include procurement and contracting, administrative accounting, programmatic accounting, travel, Government credit cards, financial policy, agency level financial reporting, cash management, and electronic commerce. As the Director of DFO, you will support SBA to better serve the public by offering expert solutions, services, and effective management in a variety of administrative services. You will manage and direct DFC operations, financial programs, and procurement services; and you will represent SBA on key issues in a wide variety of internal and external forums.
