About the Position: Supervises subordinate attorneys and paralegals in labor and administrative law; civil law; fiscal and taxation law; combat contracting; procurement and business law; procurement fraud; environmental law; ethics; investigation appeals; claims appeals; property accountability; and security. Incumbent is responsible for rendering recommendations and decisions on legal matters associated with acquisition workload associated with over $370 million dollars in contracts issued by the Fort Bragg Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC). Incumbent is recognized as the acquisition expert; work requires extensive knowledge, familiarity, and experience with Acquisition Law and competitive contracting; litigation in the Federal Courts, before contractual administrative boards and appeals to the GAO.
