Job Summary:
As an undergraduate student in the Pathways Employment Program (IEP), the Intern assists senior Communications and Radio Frequency (RF) engineers by performing electrical engineering duties in the Electrical Systems Division of the Engineering Directorate. The work involves analysis of on-orbit telemetry and system data to assess the performance of the flight system. Involves the use of computer analysis tools, such as MATLAB, to analyze data. The Intern will be exposed to on-orbit operations of a recently installed International Space Station (ISS) experimental test bed and the evaluation of performance data to complete the commissioning of the Antenna and Communications subsystems.
