Job Summary:
This is a FLEX 00 position at the Fort Carson, Veterinary Treatment Facility. Fort Carson has 2 NAF Veterinarians, 4 full time Military Veterinarians and 5 Veterinary interns. We are looking for a friendly, hard working, team oriented individual that is willing to serve clients in a fast paced environment and provide exceptional customer service. Job duties will include: working directly with customers and clients face to face and on the phone providing information on available services, assist in all activities in the reception area, preparing/sorting files for patients, setting up appointments and managing the clinic schedule to include 4 exam rooms and surgery, prepare and properly submit end of day paperwork, deposits and ensuring cash on hand is safe and accounted for in accordance with local SOPs, selling over-the-counter products, cash register operations, accounts receivable/payable, assists in maintaining clinic supply and ordering through designated vendors, preparing health certificates and other sensitive documents for domestic and international travel, monthly and weekly inventory of clinic supplies and medications, utilizing an electronic medical record system, payroll and outside shopping as necessary, provide critical information to clients for surgical and diagnostic procedures, assist with all other duties as assigned.
