Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. AREA OF CONSIDERATION: AREA I: All Excepted Technicians of the 177th Fighter Wing (FW) AREA II: All Excepted Technicians of the New Jersey Air National Guard (NJANG) AREA III: All members of the NJANG If the individual selected is currently on a title 10 tour no action can be taken until he/she is released from tour. APPOINTMENT STATUS: ( X)EXCEPTED ( ) COMPETITIVE ( ) OFFICER ( X) ENLISTED MINIMUM RANK: SSgt/E-5 MAXIMUM RANK: TSgt/E-6 APPLICANTS ABOVE THE MAXIMUM RANK: Applicants with an enlisted rank that exceeds the maximum advertised rank for the position may be considered. Applicant must provide a statement with their resume/application which indicates their willingness to accept a reduction in military rank.
