The NASA Engineering and Safety Center (NESC) Management Office is located at Langley Research Center (LaRC); however, the NESC has technical resources at all NASA Centers. The NESC performs independent testing, analysis, and review of programs and institutional issues using a diverse mix of talent from across the nation. As Manager, Management and Technical Support Office (MTSO), NESC, serves as the senior business manager and advisor to the NESC Director and as the conduit between the NESC, NASA Centers, academia, and industry business and engineering organizations. Please be prepared to answer the standard Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) questions and additional job-specific technical questions during your applications submission. It is recommended you prepare your answers prior to starting the applications process. It is also recommended you have plain-text versions of your answers. Pasting text directly from Microsoft Word will make your answer difficult to read. Successful completion of a security investigation leading to a secret (or top secret) clearance will be required. To receive consideration, you must submit a resume and answer NASA-specific questions. The NASA questions appear after you submit your resume and are transferred to a NASA web site. If you successfully apply, USAJOBS will show your application status as 'resume received - complete.' If your status is 'Application Started,' you have not successfully applied. Do not rely on a USAJOBS email to confirm successful application only an email from NASA confirms a successful application.
