Job Summary:
Work for America. Support cultural and natural resource managment using your talent in geospatial program technologies. You will work at the Midwest Regional office in Omaha located on the eastern edge of Nebraska on the Missouri River. A wide variety of housing in available in the metropolitan area with the median price of an existing home is 34 percent below the national average. The cost of living is 10 to 13 percent below the national average. In addition to public school systems, private and parochial schools are available. There are more than a dozen universities and community colleges in the area. Access to world-class health care facilities is available. Cultural amenities include classical arts, music, museums, local and national theatre and "big-name" entertainers and musical groups. Eppley Airfield is serviced by 20 jet service air carriers, and the greater Omaha area has passenger bus and Amtrak rail service. Omaha also has affordable commuter bus service and taxicab service. Bizjournals named Omaha the nation's best metropolitan area for commuters. Full-time Term position not to exceed 13 months . This position can be extended up to four years depending on funding and/or performance.
