CDB Geotechnical Earpquake Engineering Specialist

Due to an increase in workload, my client are seeking a Geotechnical Earthquake Engineer with good knowledge of site response analysis to assist with a wide variety of interesting projects in the UK and abroad. <br/><br/>Based from their London office you will be part of a specialist team working on earthquake and geotechnical aspects of projects in all of our business groups, liaising with project teams of varying complexity and size. Main responsibilities will include undertaking earthquake site response analysis, assessing liquefaction potential and undertaking geotechnical design of foundations, retaining structures and earthworks with a particular focus on earthquake related aspects. Experience in modelling dynamic soil-structure interaction and good understanding of probabilistic seismic hazard analysis would be beneficial.<br/><br/>Candidates will exhibit excellent communication skills in both written and oral English and will be able to demonstrate strong numerical and analytic
