Geotechnical Engineer 77387

My client is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to be based in their Glasgow Office, you will be required to undertake geotechnical design work for a range of interesting projects throughout the UK, Ireland and overseas. Their projects mainly lies within the highways, energy, water, maritime, land development and building sectors. A large proportion of their work is undertaken within national frameworks and for design and builds contractors.<br/><br/>You will be working with their team of geotechnical engineers, engineering geologists and geo-environmental specialists; you will be developing the geotechnical aspects of projects by input to their investigation, design, construction and post construction monitoring. Your work will include desk and feasibility studies, interpretative reporting and design of earthworks, foundations and retaining structures.<br/><br/>You must have experience of planning and design for ground investigations, a sound academic knowledge of civil and geotechnical
