Job Summary:
The mission of the Employment and Training Administration is to contribute to the more efficient functioning of the U.S. labor market by providing high quality job training, employment, labor market information, and income maintenance services primarily through state and local workforce development systems. The Office of Financial and Administrative Management (OFAM) is responsible for all ETA resources for programs and activities for which funds are appropriated, and retains its previous functions of accounting, budget and financial system oversight. It also includes functions associated with administrative services and the management and coordination of the Agency's five year strategic plan and annual performance plans and progress reports through the GPRA.
