Job Summary:
This position is located in the Office of the General Counsel. The Deputy General Counsel assists in coordinating and directing the legal activities and functions of the Peace Corps. The incumbent is responsible for developing and maintaining the complete confidence of the Peace Corps Director and Deputy Director. The incumbent, under the direction and supervision of the General Counsel, as needed, provides legal support to all Peace Corps officers and programs, and provides legal advice and guidance at all appropriate levels in connection with the development and implementation of Peace Corps' programs and operations.
