POSITION : Medical Records Technician , GS-675-4/5/6/7/8 , Salary: $27,990-$55,844 (Grade and salary to be determined by the Medical Records Technician Professional Standards Board). One (1) full time, p ermanent position located in the Health Administration Service, VA Montana Healthcare System, Fort Harrison, MT. Hours of work: Monday through Friday, 8 hour set tour of duty. NOTE: The full performance level of this vacancy is GS-8. The actual grade at which an applicant may be selected for this vacancy is GS-4/5/6/7/8. The Professional Standards Board (A peer review group) will review the selected candidate's qualifications and recommend the grade and step at which the candidate will be placed. The salary is based on the grade and step approved for the selected candidate. Promotion to full performance level will be dependent on acquiring required specialized experience and at least fully successful performance.
