Job Summary:

This position is located in the Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Directorate of Technical Support and Emergency Management (DTSEM), Office of Technical Programs and Coordination Activities (OTCPA). The Office of Technical Programs and Coordination Activities is responsible for analyzing applications submitted by employers and groups of employers seeking variances from occupational safety and health standards, and make appropriate recommendations to grant or deny variance requests in accordance with Section 6 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act and detailed in 29 CFR 1905. This position is inside the bargaining unit.
