Job Summary:
The Pathways Internship Program is designed to provide students enrolled in a wide variety of educational institutions, from high school to graduate level, with opportunities to work in agencies and explore Federal Careers while still in school and while getting paid for the work performed. These appointments are Pathways Internships Not-to-Exceed (NTE), with possible extensions every 6 months based on project funds and if the student meets the Pathways requirements. Who may apply : All qualified U.S. citizens who meet the eligibility requirements for the Pathways Internship Program as described below. Pathways Internship Program Eligibility In order to be eligible for an appointment under the Pathways Internship Program: You must be a student accepted for enrollment or currently enrolled in a degree or certificate program on at least a half-time basis and in good standing (certificate programs are post-high school programs equivalent to at least one academic year of full-time study that is part of an accredited college-level, technical, trade, vocational, or business school curriculum and the certificate must be a requirement for the position); e nrollment must be with an accredited educational institution or state-approved home school including high schools, colleges, universities, technical, trade, vocational, or business schools. You must be in good academic standing maintaining a 2.0 grade point average on a cumulative basis; and The duties of this position should be related to your academic or career goals Position Information: These appointments are Pathways Internships. The work schedule is part-time or full-time, to be determined upon student availability and the needs of the office. You must submit documentation of your student enrollment status. Please submit a legible copy of your school transcripts. If you fail to provide these requested documents, you will be rated as having an incomplete application package and you will not be considered for the position. If you are selected for this position you will have to provide an official copy of your transcript(s) prior to entering on duty.
